I prefer coated tablets because they are easier to swallow and they have a little the bitter taste often associated with certain amino acids supplements. Additionally, these taste in the tablets play a crucial role in stimulating the flow of gastric juices and bile, which are important for proper digestion.
I have a simple approach when it comes to taking amino acids. You can either take them as they are or mix them with a small amount of coconut oil or MCT oil—just a tablespoon is enough. If your purchase the tablets, my protocol is to take a little coconut oil or olive oil ( about a tea spoon full) and allow 5 to 10 minutes to expire then going and pop your 5 coated tablets.
Although amino acids are the focus, it appears that they digest more effectively when consumed with a bit of fat. I typically use coconut oil, but other fats like butter, eggs, olive oil, or avocado work just as well. Taking fats a few minutes before your amino acid intake can enhance digestion.
I start my day early at 5:00 AM with some breathwork exercises guided by “Breathe with Sandy” from YouTube. You can check out his work here:
Coconut oil after – to stimulate the flow of bile and gastric acids. This can be added to my cocoa tea – little mushroom coffee or warm water with lime/lemon.
Amino Acids – take my amino acids, and fatty acids – If you desire you can just go for the recommended “Powder meal” it is a better product for me.
My Protocol for Taking Amino Acids
