35 Years of Pain: How a Missed Infection Near My Tailbone Led to Cancer—And What I’m Doing to Heal
May 23, 2025
When I was just 14—still in Form 2 or 3—I experienced what I thought was a one-time event: a large, painful abscess near my tailbone. It burst, was drained (I think with Betadine), and eventually closed. But the pain never left. Year after year, I lived with chronic discomfort in my coccyx, often relying on hot water bottles just to sit.
It became my normal—until decades later, when I was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. That changed everything.
The Vision That Uncovered the Past
During deep meditative healing, I kept returning to the same image: my tailbone. That wound. That trauma. In one vision, I saw myself looking down from above—a beautiful island, peaceful and pristine. But right next to it, a dark, muddy undersea lava flow ruined the clear waters. It was symbolic. It was truth. That hidden infection never left me.
The Missed Connection: E. coli, Biofilm, and Chronic Inflammation
What science now confirms is what I saw in vision: certain strains of E. coli—especially pks+ types—can remain hidden for years, embedded in biofilms, slowly releasing a DNA-damaging toxin called colibactin. Research shows these strains are frequently present in people with colorectal cancer.
For me? It was rectal cancer.
That tailbone abscess had likely become home to these invaders—invisible, indestructible, and damaging.
⚠️ Lesson: If you have pain that flares during fasting or never really healed, it might be a biofilm-hardened infection. Listen to your body.
Fasting Flare-Ups: A Clue in Disguise
Every Sabbath, I fasted with devotion. Water only. And every time, the pain near my tailbone returned with force. I thought it was trapped gas. Even beer gave me short-lived relief.
But now I understand: fasting activated autophagy, an immune process that cleans house. That pain wasn’t gas—it was an immune flare-up. My body was finally detecting the hidden enemy.
But fasting alone wasn’t enough. It was a stimulus, not a solution. And you can’t heal on stimulus alone—you need fuel, materials, direction.
The Nutritional Trap: A Cultural and Spiritual Mistake
At 11, I made a sincere—but uninformed—choice to become vegetarian. For 30+ years, I lived on bread, nuts, peas, beans, lentils, bananas, yams, root vegetables, and processed plant foods.
In the Caribbean, that’s a standard plate.
Pea soup was my comfort food.
Rice and peas with pumpkin and salad? A delight.
But here’s the raw truth:
“F***ry it was. All taste—no defense.”
That diet looked good. Smelled good. But it fed infection and starved immunity.
How My Vegetarian Diet Undermined My Immunity
Nutrient Deficiency | Impact |
---|---|
Low complete amino acids | Starved immune cells (lysine, glutamine, methionine missing) |
No vitamin B12 or heme iron | Weakened red blood cells and immune activation |
Deficient fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, K2 | Damaged detox, gut lining, and T-cell function |
High fermentable carbs & antinutrients | Fed fungal and bacterial growth, blocked absorption |
The Forgotten Organs: Liver, Gallbladder, and Sacred Bile
This diet didn’t just starve my immune system—it failed my liver and gallbladder.
My liver, the body’s detox king, became congested. It stopped clearing waste and started recycling endotoxins—dumping them right back into my blood. Who cleaned up the mess?
- The spleen, overwhelmed.
- The kidneys, inflamed.
- My lymphatics, jammed with debris.
Meanwhile, my gallbladder—the holy gatekeeper of bile—just sat there, silent. Why? Because I wasn’t eating fat. And without fat, the body doesn’t release cholecystokinin (CCK)—the signal that tells the gallbladder to empty its contents.
❗ Without bile, your intestines are wide open to invasion.
Did You Know?
Bile is your body’s built-in antimicrobial.
It’s your weapon against:
- SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth)
- BIBO (Bile-Induced Bacterial Overgrowth)
- FIBO (Fungal Intestinal Overgrowth)
- LIBO, DIBO, whatever they call it next
BILE. BILE. BILE.
It sterilizes the gut. Kills invaders. Binds toxins. If your bile isn’t flowing, your immune system is being ambushed in silence.
The Cascade of Dysfunction: Recycling Toxins, Not Removing Them
When the liver doesn’t detox and bile doesn’t flow, toxins don’t leave—they circle back:
- Into the lymph.
- Into the blood.
- Into the kidneys.
- Into the bladder.
Eventually, these toxins set up new colonies in your prostate, bladder, even testicles. You’re not healing—you’re recycling disease.
The Turnaround: My Healing Approach
Today, I no longer guess. I know what works.
My Protocol
- Animal protein and organ meats: Full-spectrum amino acids. ensure Acidic PH in Stomach.
- Taurine, glycine, collagen: For repair, hydration, and immune balance
- Liver & kidney supplements: Restore minerals and fat-soluble vitamins
- Castor oil packs on tailbone: Stimulate lymphatic drainage
- Serrapeptase and nattokinase: Disrupt biofilms
- Hiprex, D-mannose, oregano oil: Target pks+ E. coli and urinary invaders
I eat meats at night (my amino acid window), light glucose in the morning based on activity, and healthy fats midday to trigger bile. I flush my gallbladder with lemon, salt, turmeric, choline, and bitters. I don’t skip fats anymore—fats are my allies now.
“The wound is the place where the Light enters you.” – Rumi
That tailbone pain? It was a message. A warning. A second chance.
A Message for You
- If you’ve had chronic pain for years with no explanation…
- If your body flares during fasting…
- If your spirit keeps pointing to a buried wound…
It might be real. Investigate. Give your body the tools it needs. Listen.
