Choline (Used to be a B Vitamin)

Liver Fat, Pancreatic Issue, Bile Flow, Sticky Bill, Gallbladder, Brain and Cognitive Function.

Notes:

What I learnt: If the bile is too thick then the acidic chime from the stomach will be acidic in the duodenum and the body will rush in a lot of water into the system which would lead to watery stools, with floating undigested fats, if you had food with fats.

Thus, if you have floating stool, which indicated the bile – is not present to breakdown the fats, then you should start working on bile flow issue.

Lack of bile flow can lead to smudge and then gallbladder stone.

Also, I learnt that if you stool is yellowish, then this can also be an issue of bile flow. These are thing you have to observe over 2 to 3 weeks, not just a one-day occurrence.

Helping bile to be release take a good deal of work like 2 months- A supplement named:

What is choline.

It used to be part of those B-Vitamins. ( B are water soluble, so overdosing may be difficult, because you will just pee it out if you have too much)

Choline, once considered a B vitamin, is now recognized as a vitamin-like substance essential for various bodily functions. While the body can produce some choline, it’s insufficient for optimal functioning, so we must obtain it from food sources like eggs, beef, beef liver, and certain vegetables.

What do we know about this nutrient??

Choline serves as a building block for acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter crucial for brain-to-body signaling. Studies suggest choline supplementation may enhance cognitive function and mitigate age-related memory decline, as well as benefit conditions like non-alcoholic fatty liver and cholestasis by ensuring proper bile flow from the liver to the gallbladder and into the duodenum during digestion.

Yes, choline is a water-soluble vitamin-like nutrient. This means that it dissolves in water and can be easily absorbed by the body. However, unlike many other water-soluble vitamins such as vitamin C or the B vitamins, choline is not classified as a vitamin by some authorities, but rather as an essential nutrient. Nonetheless, its water-solubility allows it to be readily absorbed and utilized by the body when consumed through food sources or supplements.

What does Choline do for our Bile Flow??

  • Summary: Help thin the bile.
Bile is that soapy substance that is created by the Liver and stored into gallbladder. Bile helps us break that food down and get all the nutrients out of that food. That bile also helps us access fat soluble vitamins like A, E, D and K.

How does it help with Bile Flow?

Choline help thin the bile, and this is good if you can use choline. While I cannot recommend any supplements to anyone. You can try on your own terms. Remember rule of thumb for all supplements is to take the smallest amount you can before starting for about 3 days. If it is a capsule, open it split one full capsule in 3 parts taste it and let the body know what you are planning to introduce for the first time.

Who should avoid Coline.

Do a 1-minute breathing monitoring exercise. Record yourself sitting and breathing over 1 minutes without being conscious about what you are doing. Then look or count the number of breaths you take.

If you take 14 or more breaths, then it is ok to try this Choline.

If you are less than 14 ( let’s say 12 or lower breaths) then you may want to be very cautious with Choline.
